She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future. -Proverbs 31:25

Life is full of different seasons. We go through different emotions, and strength is required to get through all of them, the good and bad. Listed below are some strengths that strong single women know on a very personal level:

1.) Patience

You know who you are. You know who you belong to. You know what you deserve. That’s why you choose to refuse to settle for a man that can’t meet those needs. You know your time is valuable and you refuse  to waste any more of it. Your past and heartbreaks might have left you broken in the past, but it has strengthed you for your future.

2.) Your Time is your Own. Use it to do what you love.

Being single gives you a lot of time to discover new things and new ways to enjoy your own company. Don’t waste time dwelling on the past or worrying about what the future holds ahead. Enjoy the moment in your life NOW and do what you love.

3.) Career & Financial Freedom

Relationships are beautiful. When you settle down with the right one, things will change and that also means you will have to make certain sacrficies for your relationship to continuously blossom. When you’re single, you have more freedom with your career and finances because you are only committed to you in this season. Take advantage of that!

4.) Solitude

Personal time is something so important that many people overlook as not being important. Single women have the tendency to practice more self-care because that is what their focus is on. Do not lose that focus even when you choose yourself with someone else. Nothing compares to the feeling of peace when you can enjoy your own company. Do not be afraid to be alone in this season. It will teach you a lot about yourself that you need to discover.

5.) You Take Higher Risks

The sky is the limit. You’re discovering yourself and you’re unstoppable. You don’t seek validation from anyone and you know the only limit is you. Being patient and faithful in your single season has increased your confidence. You know this is just a period of your life. Greater is coming.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” -2 Timothy 1:7

6.) You Are Fearless

You didn’t let the pain from your past harden your heart. You’re courageous and you’re done crying over spilled milk. You have let go of the things you can’t control and have manifested in the things you do have control in your life.

7.) Emotional Focus and More Creativity Flow

I don’t how many people can relate, but some of my best work and ideas manifested in me when I was going through a period in my life where I was “breaking through” my next breakthrough or when I was shifting. It had nothing to do with my singlehood, but some of my most major shifts did happen when I was single. No matter what my status was, God & emotional focus kept me through the hard times I didn’t think I wasn’t going to get through.

Being single is just a status, not destiny. ♥️

Until next time,
