Meet Jasmine Lawrence, Founder and CEO of EDEN BodyWorks

Jasmine Lawrence developed an entrepreneurial mindset at a young age. She was inspired to create her own natural line of hair care products at age 11 while recovering from a chemical burn that damaged her hair. By the age of 13, after completing a Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) BizCamp, Jasmine launched EDEN BodyWorks to meet her own need for affordable natural hair and body care products. EDEN BodyWorks provides natural products that integrate wellness and beauty inspired by nature to restore and maintain the hair and body’s original design. After 15 years in business her products are available at Target, Walmart, CVS, Amazon.com, Kroger, HEB, Sally Beauty, neighborhood beauty supply stores, and wholesale boutiques worldwide.

In addition to being the Founder EDEN BodyWorks, Jasmine also has a passion for technology. Marrying passion with purpose, her dual-career life in business and tech is admirable. While continuing to run EDEN BodyWorks, Jasmine also currently serves as a Technical Program Manager of the Social Good team at Facebook. This team specializes in building products that make it easier for people to connect with the ones they love most.

Earlier in her career, Jasmine served as a Program Manager at Microsoft. On the Microsoft HoloLens Experience team, Jasmine created customer driven Mixed Reality applications for enterprise partners. Before that she worked on the Xbox Engineering team creating cross- platform social experiences for millions of gamers around the world.

Jasmine earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with concentrations in devices and artificial intelligence, from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She also holds a master’s degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington. Utilizing her expertise in technology and beauty, Jasmine continues to create products that make the world better and solutions that people can use.

From the brainchild of a determined preteen, EDEN BodyWorks has since blossomed into an internationally distributed commercial solution to hair and body care concerns. The brand’s equal commitment to health, function and aesthetic make it a forerunner in the beauty and wellness arena and a true advocate of its customers.

EDEN BodyWorks carries an impressive collection of nine product lines, all uniquely designed to target specific skin and hair concerns.
