I am a Woman, Not a Female

I’m pretty sure women will agree with me when I say “There is nothing like being a woman”. We go through a million emotions a day. We can give the gift of life. We are special in many ways. It bothers me when people define us  as “female” because the word is very broad. A female is anything living with female organs. It doesn’t make you a feminist or harsh when you don’t want to be addressed as a “female”. As a woman, you give the world its gentleness.

She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come.

26 She speaks with wisdom,

and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

27 She watches over the affairs of her household

and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praises her:

29 “Many women do noble things,

but you surpass them all.”

30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;

but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,

and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31:25-31

Being a good woman is not an easy task. Plenty of us have been in that stage where we are emotional, blind, broken, torn, stupid, vulnerable, beaten, tormented, manipulated, disrespected, and unloved by someone we would have gone to the moon and back for! But when you become that woman that is fully healed  after all you’ve been through..and you finally see your worth again (which was always there), my what a dangerous and beautiful transformation! The people who did all those things to you will see how much stronger you are and that makes you a threat because  you didn’t let them break you! So their loss for not knowing  how  to love you properly. What you gain from pain makes you the woman you are today. So be proud of what God made you! 💙
